Online Exhibits

The Museum is pleased to announce our participation on Historypin, a collaborative website devoted to showcasing images of the past and how they relate to the present. You can see images we have posted here:

Dundas Museum and Archives on Historypin

We are always trying to highlight our collections in new and innovative ways. In doing this, the Archives maintains two blog style online exhibits:

The Lesslie Family of Dundas

This site contains a selection of scanned original documents, transcribed records, and photographs from the James Lesslie fonds and the Lesslie family fonds.

The Wheels of Progress: a brief history of the Bertram Family

Building on the research done for an exhibit in the Museum, this site shares the story of one of Dundas’ most influential families.

The Museum’s Book Collection
This project is in process and includes books that are readily accessible as well as those that are part of the Museum’s collection. Access the catalogue here: https://www.librarything.com/catalog/DundasMuseum
