Item consists of a black and white photographic copy print of the flooding of the Desjardins Canal turning basin.
Typed on the back of the image: ‘Desjardins Canal basin – as a result of flooding caused by silting where the Spencer flowed into the Canal (Coote’s Paradise) in March 1918. Reynolds brought suit against the H.D.S. Rly in May of that year.’
