Join Dundas Museum & Archives’ staff, Exhibition Coordinator Austin Strutt and Archivist Kelsey Haas as they conduct a detailed visual tour of images from the Museum’s Glass Negative Collection, portraying historical moments and events in the history of Dundas.
The presentation complements the latest Feature Exhibition at the Museum, Deep Focus: Dundas Glass Negative Photographs. The Museum is home to a collection of several hundred original glass negatives taken by local photographers. These remarkable images, dating from the 1850s to the 1930s, captured the period that saw the Early Victorian Town of Dundas develop into the community we know today.
