Take a journey through history as we examine the rise of the fine art print with guest lecturer, Greg Davies. From the woodcuts and engravings of Albrecht Durer to the etchings of Rembrandt, the lithographs of Honore Daumier and the monotypes of Edgar Degas… we’ll explore various printmaking techniques and the creative opportunities they provided to artists in their ongoing quest for creative expression.

Greg Davies is a painter, art historian and former assistant professor of art history at McMaster University. He is currently the Administrator of the Carnegie Gallery.
