We’re excited to welcome Jody Boston (she/her), therapeutic clown practitioner, arts educator, and community arts consultant, as a special Neighbourhood Moves facilitator to the Dundas Museum on Saturday, February 28, from 2-4 pm. We’re grateful for the opportunity to explore movement through play, laughter, and connection together!
Movement Through Play uses games, improvisation, and comedic prompts to spark creativity, expression, and joy. The session is guided by the energy of the group and the needs of each participant, with choice, rest, and curiosity at the centre, offering a welcoming entry point into movement through play, imagination, and shared presence. Participants are encouraged to move at their own pace and in their own way.
The workshop concludes with a lighthearted group dance that celebrates creativity, laughter, and the joy of being ourselves together.
