Join us at the Dundas Museum and Archives on Friday, October 20th, from 6:30-8:30 pm for a family-friendly event in collaboration with Councillor Alex Wilson, highlighting the past, present, and future of our interactions with the Dundas Valley’s waterways, from the days of the Ragin’ Canawl to the future of Cootes Paradise.

You’ll get the chance to meet members of local watershed stewardship groups, including:

There will be a talk on the “Ragin’ Canawl” led by DMA Exhibitions Curator Austin Strutt, followed by remarks from Councillor Alex Wilson on present challenges and future opportunities to improve the health of our local watershed, including the future replacement of the Dundas Wastewater Treatment Plant, followed by a Q&A period. The evening’s festivities will end with open time for guests to tour the museum and chat.
