All tools and materials included!

This Weaving 101 workshop will allow for community building, self-expression, and a chance for all people, beginner to advanced, to participate and engage in the process of weaving. It will allow the opportunity to learn a new skill, develop techniques like warping the loom, developing tassels, and incorporating unique materials within a design concept. The workshop takes place in the Education Centre in the Pirie House, which is fully accessible, and currently features Emma Enrights’s exhibition, Road Maps.

During this 2-hour course, participants can develop and take home a small textile weaving they have created.

Recommended for ages 12 and up.
