Congratulations Rob!

Congratulations to Rob Bell on winning the 2019 Governor General’s History Award for Excellence in Teaching!

Rob and his 5/6 class at Dundas Central consulted newspapers, municipal school records, and historic sites to create the Finding Hazel exhibit, which was on display at the Dundas Museum during the spring of 2019. The project examined the life of Hazel Isabel Layden, a child from Dundas who died tragically during the international Spanish Flu epidemic of 1918.
