Museum Reopens with Improved Safety Measures

The Dundas Museum is pleased to announce our reopening under the RED Control COVID-19 framework on Tuesday, March 16th. New safety measures are in place that will make visits to the museum safer during the pandemic.

For your safety, the Museum has upgraded its furnaces with a new air filtration system that will exchange the air with greater frequency and aid in trapping air-born pathogens.

The staff are ready to welcome back the public with the confidence of updated safety measures in place. So come visit our latest exhibition, I Spy Dundas, and see what you can spy with the assurance your hometown museum has put your safety first!

Our staff are trained in the five principles of P.O.S.T.

In addition to adhering to the directions of Hamilton Public Health, the DM+A pledges to follow the P.O.S.T. Promise guidelines to maintain the COVID safe place of business for our visitors and staff. We aim to provide a safe and healthy space to the community, exceeding health standards where possible.
